Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers has just sent the document to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to report the situation of exporting pangasius in 2009 and expose 5 petitions about the solution of promoting to produce and export pangasius in 2010.

Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers has suggested to promulgate the specific regulations to carry out the project of developing to produce and consume pangasius at the Mekong River Delta up to 2020; caring about the first elements for feeding exporting pangasius; considering carefully when authorizing for new building or enlarging the factories of processing pangasius.

Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers has also suggested the Department to have the policies and methods of public management according to the associations on exporting pangasius and promoting the programs of commercial promoting, organizing the activities of popularizing the pangasius of Vietnam./.
