Minister of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development – Mr. Cao Duc Phat visited HungCa Factory
The government task force led by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development was present in Dong Thap province. Minister spent time meeting and talking with the board of directors at HungCa’s factory and farming whose is the largest farming area in Mekong Delta.
At the meeting with management committee, Mr Tran Van Hung , Chairman of HungCa reported Business condition in six months in the beginning of the year 2012, the difficulties we face. At the sane time, he asked Minister about the order of the day for farmers and exporters such as supporting source of funds for building the cold storage to keep the finished fish products and moratorium for Enterprises, which make Enterprises not dare buy raw fish from farmers, while Pangasius grew up and The farmers have to sell them. In that case, they are selling off at reduced prices so raw prices have fallen and makes Vietnam Pangasius market crisis. This affects not only trading and production situation of all companies but also HungCa Co.

At the meeting also, Minister Cao Duc Phat went to farming areas of HungCa Factory at Thanh Binh District. He highly appreciate the results and effort of HungCa with active source of material, large farming areas, stable input and active ouput factor as well, provided a great number of jobs for local residents.
Besides, Minister listened to opinions of the farmers about nursery, raw fish prices and bank interest rate, etc. The minister claimed in the next time he will combine with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other departments concentrate to solve all difficulties which enterprises and farmers faced in order to stably develop Vietnam Pangasius factor.
Before saying goodbye the leaders and the local people, The government task force led by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development enjoyed especial meal from fresh Pangasius – present from nature of Mekong Delta.
